Birthday Cake - First GD post

Hello my crafty friends,

Today I have a beautiful birthday card which I specially created as guest designer for Scrapping4fun Challenges #163 - Candy/ Cake/ Icecream. I am truly honored to design for this lovely challenge.

Here is my card

For my card I have used hand drawn image of a baby with a cake. I coloured the image with watercolour cakes. To create the background I used freehand brush strokes and blue hand torn papers distressed with little darker blue. I decorated the cake with pink acrylic gemstones. I directly stamped the sentiment on the background and added the cake image with foam tape to give some dimension.

Towfer Spring Animals

Hi friends

Today I have these two cards created for March Twofer challenge. I got an opportunity for showcasing my love for the bird swan. In my childhood I always found it very easy to draw a swan with the shortcut of number 2. And I always used to draw it in my art designs. Spring craft challenges gave me the chance to relive this part from my childhood.

Here are my twofer

The common factor in these two cards is the beautiful Swans. I drew the swan and did fussy cutting for both of the cards. One card is made specially for a girl with " hello gorgeous" sentiment hand written. Another card is featuring the lovely spring bird in a pair spreading love in the air.

In both the cards I have created backgrounds with stencil and distress inks.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs
Priyanka

Love in the Air

Good morning friends,

Today I have another card featuring the lovely spring bird SWAN in a pair
spreading love in the air.

For this card I have used minimum supplies. The background is created with distress inks and heart stencil. The swans are hand cut and the running sentiment is hand written.

Here is my card

Hope you like my card.
Thanks for stopping by.

Love, Priyanka

Hello Gorgeous - Card

Hello all

Today I have a card saying " Hello Gorgeous" specially made for a girl and what will be better than calling a girl gorgeous to make her day more cheerful. Here is the card..

This card is multi layered and I have used different technique for each. First is white card stock in which I created texture by adding stitching without thread ( actually it supposed to be with thread but while doing it the thread got finished in my sewing machine and I could notice only when I finished it. I liked it this way also and tried it in this card).

Upon white layer I pasted another layer in which I created a background using my cloud stencil to add the cloudy weather feel. Then I put the cute swan on it which I have done with paper piecing technique and added silver paper to give some bling in the pink and white combination. And I was quite satisfied with this. The sentiment is handwritten.

Hope you will like this girly card. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs Priyanka.

Green Birthday - Card

Hello everyone,

Today morning was enough pretty and full of greens around me which inspired me to make this card.
Its a very simple one layered card hand drawn and water coloured with my water colour cakes.

Here is a quick view of the process of making this card. Its as simple as the card is. I started with drawing of these pretty succulents and the guidelines for some more green leaves to complete the half wreath. And then coloured them with all green shades in my palette. It was looking monochrome and bit boring so added tiny red flowers. To create more interest in the background I just sprinkled some green water colour only and finally added a birthday sentiment directly on main layer itself. I pasted the main layer on another base cardstock of white colour.

I am quite satisfied how it turned up. Hope you will also find it interesting and beautiful.

Thanks for stopping by. Love Priyanka
